This editorial makes me feel happy for winter. How amazing are those grey ribbed thermals? I feel like now is the time to invest in some luxurious loungewear, but can i ever justify buying a pair of cashmere pyjama bottoms? They're just too soft and comforting to ignore.

Michael Pitt X Rag and Bone

So i've been meaning to do this blog post since the AW13 ads came out.... I was in complete awe when i first saw it. Michael Pitt is a dream combined with rag & bone, i'm not sure it can get much better. He's an interesting actor (see Boardwalk Empire) and he epitomises the cool New York guy image. A great choice has been made here for their debut mens collection.
As for my favourite item.... it kind of has to be the Hauge jacket.

Brigitte Bardot is so beautiful. Her iconic style has impacted so many generations, and how could it not with that hairstyle, quirky outfits and cool, french girl attitude. By the age of 15 she had appeared on the cover of French Elle magazine and later went on to become one of Europe's top actresses and an international sex symbol. Brigitte i salute you.

Roller Skating Uniform

So im not completely sure why im writing a post about roller skating but i keep coming across pictures that i love. The skates add a completely different aesthetic to the clothes that are being worn - a fun nostalgic feeling that makes me want to join in immediately!

When i think about dressed down summer styling i often think of Thelma and Louise in their worn denim and cut off vest tops. Im posting this as a reminder for when i can't decide what to wear - simple, easy and timeless - T & L are the ultimate 'Cool Girls'.

WELCOME BACK | DAFT PUNK

I saw Daft Punk years ago at the o2 Wireless festival and they were insane, so this makes me unbelievably happy! Pharrell is perfect - can you believe he is 40? The sequinned jackets they are wearing are designed by Hedi Slimane who is the Saint Laurent creative director, and Daft Punk will be part of the fashion house's new music project... can things get any more exciting?
